The Founder

Uglesic's Restaurant was founded in 1924 by Sam Mate Uglesich. He worked very hard with the restaurant open from 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 A.M. seven days a week for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.Some of the  menu consisted of eggs, roast beef, fried oyster, fried shrimp, and oysters on the half shell.

The Owners

Anthony and Gail Uglesich purchased the restaurant from Sam, and made there own marks on the the New Orleans landmark. While the Anthony and Gail worked seven days a week, the restaurant was open for lunch Monday thru Friday and for special occasions. New menu items Paul's Fantasy, Shrimp,. Uggie, Oysters Shooters, Stuffed Pasta Shell, and many more.

We only purchased and sold FRESH LOUISIANA seafood As Anthony always said "People trust me. If something's not running good, I'll say "look , don't get it." .
